IBBI Reporting

As mandated by IBBI, every signatory shall provide IBBI with a public disclosure report on the progress made in the 10-point IBBI Declaration every two years (see Annexure – A for Declarations). With the first reporting cycle to commence in May 2016, a reporting framework will be developed in 2015 to guide signatories on progress reporting.

Given above, the Working Group will be instrumental in developing the reporting framework as per the IBBI Declaration. This framework will be in sync with international and Indian standards and reporting frameworks, including GRI G4, Carbon Disclosure Project, UN Global Compact, National Voluntary Guidelines, etc. Good practices on reporting by other national business and biodiversity initiatives, such as the Biodiversity in Good Company in Germany, will be followed.

The working group also created a guidance document to assist the industry to complete reporting in a structured manner.
